Mobile workforce solutions provider Fleetmatics is creating 75 new jobs in research and development at its new Tallaght headquarters in Dublin over the next 18 months.
It will bring employee numbers here to over 200 and over 1,200 worldwide.
Fleetmatics was founded in Templeogue in Dublin in 2004 when it employed 10 people.
The company floated on the New York Stock Exchange four years ago.
Fleetmatics develops GPS-based fleet management systems that track the location of vehicles and gives fleet operators information on a range of issues like fuel use, speed, mileage and delivery times.
Up to March of this year, Fleetmatics had about 737,000 vehicles under subscription and about 37,000 customers of all sizes throughout Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, the US and the UK.
It reported total revenue of $284.8m last year, an increase of 23% compared to $231.6m in 2014.
