The percentage of people here using the social network for professionals, LinkedIn, has dropped by 3%, according to new data.
The Ipsos MRBI Social Networking Tracker for April also found that in the three months to the end of March, daily usage of Twitter rose by 4%, with 39% of account holders here now using the microblogging site every day.
The number of people with a Facebook account rose by just 1% to 64%, and although daily usage of the social network dropped by 2% in the period, it still has the highest percentage of daily users here, at 72%.
The number of people on Google+, Instagram and Pinterest all rose slightly in the three month period.
However, the number of daily users of Google+ dropped considerably, down 4% to 19%.
Instagram and Pinterest both recorded modest growth in daily usage.
Facebook Messenger remains the messaging app with the highest percentage penetration here, despite dropping 1% in the quarter.
Today's figures also show that the number of people in Ireland with WhatsApp accounts rose 1%, while Snapchat saw a 2% increase in the percentage of people using the service and now stands at 27%.
72% of people in Ireland with the app installed say they now use it every day.
Meanwhile, Viber is now used daily by 36% of people who have it installed.
But daily use of the dating app, Tinder, dropped by 3% in the first three months of the year.
