"Motivated" remains the most overused word on Irish LinkedIn users' profiles, the social network for professionals has revealed.
According to an analysis by the company, "motivated" is the buzzword most likely to be found on users profiles here for the second year is a row.
This is followed by "enthusiastic", "track record", "passionate", "creative" and "driven".
LinkedIn released the data today because around the world January 21 is the most popular day for users of the social network to update their profiles.
The company said that showing off samples of work, like presentations or photos - to demonstrate their skills and attributes is a more effective way for users to sell their abilities than using buzzwords.
It also said that publishing news and views on LinkedIn is an effective way of getting noticed.
