LinkedIn, the social network for business people and professionals, is to fill a further 100 jobs in Ireland.
The company revealed today that it currently employs 900 people in Ireland, an increase of 300 in the last year.
Last year, the firm announced it was beginning the construction of a new 17,500-square-metre building at Wilton Terrace in Dublin city centre for its international headquarters, which would enable it to double its workforce in the future.
Work has now begun on that building and it is due for completion in 2017, with 700 temporary construction jobs created as a result.

The currently open positions are for sales managers, insight analysts, applied scientists, HR managers and finance managers.

LinkedIn's current office, beside the site where the new office is being built, was visited by the Taoiseach Enda Kenny today.
He welcomed the company's continued expansion here, saying it was a fantastic endorsement for Ireland.

Earlier this year, LinkedIn revealed that Google's former boss in Ireland, John Herlihy, was joining the company as EMEA Managing Director.
