Software company Datalex has seen its revenue rise in the first six months of the year on the back of new customer wins.

The firm, which makes software for airlines seeking to boost income from non-fare sales, had revenues of $20.8m between January and June – up 3% year-on-year.

This was thanks to the addition of airlines such as Brussels Airlines, China’s West Air and Edelweiss to its platform during the period.

Profit after tax more than halved to $300,000, however, as Datalex booked amortisation and depreciation charges of $300,000.

The company said it expected continued strong growth in the market over the next five years, and said it had continued to invest in new products while also scaling the business.

Datalex also boosted its cash reserves in the period – up 13% to $16.2m.
