The CEO of APN News & Media Ltd, Brendan Hopkins, has announced that he will leave the company at the end of the year.
Independent News & Media PLC holds a 32.2% shareholding in APN News & Media.
Mr Hopkins has been chief executive of APN since August 2002, having been seconded to that role by Independent News & Media PLC.
Mr Hopkins will leave at the end of December and APN's Board has appointed Heidrick & Struggles to search for a suitable successor, including potential internal candidates.
