IT firm PFH buys Siemens arm

Irish IT services company PFH has bought the Irish business of Siemens Enterprise Communications in what it called a 'multi-million euro deal'.

PFH currently employs 150 people in Dublin, Cork and Galway, but this deal will bring the total to 200.

Siemens Enterprise Communications provides communications services for businesses, including voice, network infrastructure and security technology. It is jointly owned by German engineering giant Siemens and the Gores Group.

As part of the deal Siemens Enterprise Communications staff based in Cork will move to the PFH facility in Eastgate, Cork, over the next few weeks. All remaining staff will move to the new PFH sales and marketing base in Dublin in the coming months.
