ICT Ireland, the IBEC group that represents the high-tech sector, has welcomed support for the reintroduction of bonus points for higher-level leaving certificate maths.
Tánaiste and Minister for Education Mary Coughlan gave her backing to the introduction of bonus points for achievement in Leaving Certificate maths.
ICT Ireland also urged the minister that the change be facilitated at the earliest opportunity.
