The Northern Ireland division of Johnston Press, which owns the Derry Journal, Londonderry Sentinel and Donegal Democrat, says it is cutting 11 posts across the newspaper group.
The company said that following a review of its operations in the North, it proposes to restructure the editorial department across the division.
Its plans include the centralising of the subbing function of all titles across the Northern Ireland division into the production centre in Craigavon, resulting in 11 posts.
The company believes that these proposals will help secure the long-term future of the titles in a 'challenging market'.
Johnston Press owns the Leinster Leader group, the Leitrim Observer, the Kilkenny People and the Longford Leader in the Republic.
