The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland has signed a deal with TV3 for the renewal of its television programme service contract for the next ten years.
The new contract will run until September 2018 with a further five year renewal option, subject to certain conditions, at that point.
TV3 is owned by private equity firm Doughty Hanson, which initially backed TV3's management in a €265m buy-out from CanWest, ITV and a consortium of private investors in 2006.
