Newspaper circulation figures for the first six months of the year show falls for the Irish Independent and Irish Examiner and a slight rise for the Irish Times.
The Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) figures show that in the daily market, the Irish Independent still leads the way on 159,383, but this is down almost 1% on the same period last year. The Irish Times added 0.1% to 118,259 and the Irish Examiner dropped 3% to 54,191.
In the Sunday newspaper market, the Sunday Independent's circulation was 283,024, down 1.7%, while the Sunday World gained 3.3% to 292,124. The Sunday Business Post fell 1% to 55,971 and the Sunday Tribune lost 6.4% to 65,717.
The Evening Herald and Cork's Evening Echo each lost around 4% to 79,447 and 25,829 respectively.
The ABC report also provided figures for a number of websites, which showed rte.ie with just under 1.6 million unique users, followed by ireland.com with 1.15 million and eircom.net with just over one million.
