US communications company Qualcomm has bought Dublin-based mobile software company Xiam.
Qualcomm said it was paying $32m (€20.7m) for Xiam, which is mainly involved in technology which enables mobile phone companies to target particular customers.
Xiam was founded in 2004 and funded by venture capital firm Delta Partners and Enterprise Ireland.
