Dollar decline hurts Datalex figures

Travel software group Datalex has reported a pre-tax loss of $2.1m for last year, as the slide in the dollar led to an increase in its costs.

The results included a once-off charge of $1.2m for a restructuring aimed at dealing with its higher cost base.

Total revenue grew by 16% to just under $31m, helped by a 26% increase in e-business revenue.

Shares in the company were down two cent at 48 cent in Dublin this afternoon.
