Resource wins Victoria Square contract

Resource, which provides services such as cleaning, security and car parking management to companies, has won a major contract to service Northern Ireland's largest and most modern retailing development, Victoria Square in Belfast.

The three year deal is worth €6m and will involve the provision of various support services ranging from cleaning to security.

Victoria Square will open to the public on March 6 and brings 800,000 square feet of new retail space to Belfast.

Resource was formed through a management buy-in of NI-based Maybin in 2006. The buy-in was headed by CEO Terence Brannigan and two other former senior managers with UK company Compass. It was backed by Dublin-based investment group Lioncourt Capital.
