Resource, which provides services such as cleaning, security and car parking management to companies, has made a UK buy which it says will bring its annual revenue to €215m.
Resource has bought Pall Mall, the cleaning and security services division of London-listed company Carillion, for €28.5m.
Pall Mall currently employs 7,500 people and brings Resource's total staff number to 15,000 in Ireland and the UK.
Resource was formed through a management buy-in of NI-based Maybin in 2006. The buy-in was headed by CEO Terence Brannigan and two other former senior managers with UK company Compass. It was backed by Dublin-based investment group Lioncourt Capital.
The company has made a number of other acquisitions over the past few months, including Limerick-based Corporate Cleaning Services and Dublin company Masterclean.
