Vodafone has launched a new internet service for which customers will pay a flat rate.
The company has linked up with brands such as eBay, Google, YouTube and MySpace to offer the new service from tomorrow.
Vodafone says that its pricing structure at 99c per day or €9.99 per month gives customers using a 3G or 2.5G handset the freedom to use the web on their mobile the way they want to.
The service is possible through an innovation on the Vodafone network which adapts web content for mobile use by rearranging content to make it mobile-friendly.
Vodafone also said it had upgraded SafetyNet, a web access control tool designed to enable parents to control content their children access on their phones.
