British music company EMI Group said this morning that it had received a number of takeover approaches.
Recent press reports revealed that private equity firm One Equity Partners had approached EMI with an offer that could be worth more than $6 billion.
In March, EMI rejected a £2.1 billion cash takeover proposal from its rival Warner Music.
