An Irish technology and software development company is to invest €9m in research and development.
The investment at Silicon and Software Systems (S3), which is backed by Enterprise Ireland, will lead to the creation of 20 new jobs at the company's offices in Cork and Dublin.
The company creates software for set-top boxes, personal video recorders and high definition televisions. It was set up more than 20 years ago and employs more than 300 people.
Most of its employees are based in Ireland, but more than 100 are based abroad. The company also has offices in Poland.
