Newspaper circulation figures for the six months to December last year show little change for the Irish Independent, but falls for the Irish Times and Irish Examiner.
The figures, from the Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC), show that the Irish Independent's average daily circulation in the period was 163,732, up 0.1% on the same period a year earlier. The Irish Times was down 1.1% at 116,102, while the Irish Examiner dropped 4.5% to 56,441.
In the Sunday market, the Sunday Independent still leads the way with 287,750, almost unchanged on a year earlier. The Sunday Business Post made the biggest gains, up 4.6% to 53,960, but the Sunday Tribune fell 3.5% to 69,305. The Sunday World was up 2.2% to 278,395.
Among evening papers, the Evening Herald was up marginally at 85,756, while Cork's Evening Echo added 1.7% to 26,946.
