Latest JNLR figures remain static

The latest JNLR/TNSmrbi survey shows that 85% of the adult population listened every day to a mix of national, regional and local radio throughout the country in the months from October 2005 to September 2006.

The survey says there were minor fluctuations in the reach figures of almost all of the national radio stations when compared with the previous survey period. Listenership to any regional/local station was down a point to 57%, while RTE Radio 1 and RTE 2FM achieved reach figures of 23% and 18% - each down a point.

Today FM's reach figure increased by a point to 16%, while RTE Lyric FM maintained its listened to yesterday figure of 3%.

The survey shows that the majority of Dublin radio stations maintained their reach figures, with the exception of FM104 which gained a point to stand at 23%. Both Cork's 96 FM/Country Sound and Cork's Red FM maintained their respective reach figures of 48% and 17%.
