E-learning group ThirdForce has won a €1m contract to provide e-learning based training materials to Care UK, one of Britain's leading national suppliers of care and support services. The contract is for three years and was won by ThirdForce's recently acquired UK subsidiary Creative Learning Media.
Care UK delivers residential, community, acute and primary care in partnership with local authorities, Primary Care Trusts and the UK's National Health Service Trust. It employs over 9,500 staff at 90 locations in the UK.
Under its new contract, ThirdForce will give training to Care UK in common standards and in areas including the protection of vulnerable adults, patient care, infection control, food hygiene and health and safety.
'This latest deal endorses our acquisition of CLM in September 2005, which was a strategic move to expand our business into a wider range of e-learning categories which include the healthcare, hospitality, good and retail sectors where CLM leads the market in the provision of high quality e-learning programmes,' commented ThirdForce's CEO Brendan O'Sullivan.
