New figures from the OECD put Ireland 24th of 30 countries for broadband penetration, with a 9.2% subscription rate in June this year.
Denmark tops the list with 29.3%, with the Netherlands next on 28.8%. Ireland improved from 6.7% in 2005, but dropped by one place.
