Siemens has appointed Dr Werner Kruckow as Managing Director of Ireland.
An electrical engineer by profession, Dr Kruckow joined Siemens Transportation Systems Germany in 1988.
He succeeds Lorenz Zimmerman who is now appointed CFO of the Siemens Global Shared Services operation based in Germany.
Siemens employs more than 800 people in Ireland and has offices in Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
