Dublin-based payment technology group Sentenial says it has raised €1m in funding during the first three months of 2006. The investors were Enterprise Ireland and an unnamed financial institution.
Sean Fitzgerald, founder and CEO of Sentenial, said the company would use the money to expand into Europe and to develop its sales and marketing capabilities.
He hopes Sentenial will raise another €2-3m before the end of the year.
Sentenial recorded turnover of more than €1m last year and made a profit in its last financial year. Its main product is an automated direct debit services aimed at small companies.
