Belfast-based company Andor Technology, which makes digital imaging and spectroscopy devices for scientific research, has reported pre-tax profits of £600,000 for the six months to the end of March, almost treble the figure for the same period a year earlier.
Sales grew by 23% to £9.2m, while earnings per share were up 47% to 2p. The company said sales grew in all of its markets.
Andor also said it had increased its production capacity by 50% from this time last year, while it invested nearly £1m in research and development in the six-month period.
