The Government has appointed Mary Finan as the new Chairperson of the RTE Authority. She succeeds Fintan Drury in the position.
Ms Finan is currently Chairperson of Wilson Hartnell Public Relations and is also Chair of the Economic and Social Research Institute.
'Mary Finan will bring with her a wealth of experience in business generally and communications in particular. She is a very successful business person and is involved in many worthy organisations on a voluntary basis. I would like to wish her well in her new role,' the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, Noel Dempsey, said today after the appointment.
