Dublin's light rail system Luas is to use payment software group Trintech's Payware Merchant card technology.
The technology, which has been deployed at Luas headquarters in Dublin, will manage debit and credit card transactions at touch-screen ticket vending machines across Dublin.
The Luas system has 92 ticket vending machines along the routes in the city centre and suburbs.
