Irish Broadband to add 60 jobs

Irish Broadband says it will be recruiting 60 new members of staff to its Dublin headquarters over the next 12 months, bringing total employment in the company to 162.

Irish Broadband has been rolling out its wireless broadband network, and says staff numbers are being increased to cope with its expanding residential customer base. The company says 200 to 300 people per week have been signing up for its services so far this year.

The company - a subsidiary of NTR - currently provides coverage throughout Dublin City, as well as Cork and Galway. By the end of February, its services will be available in Limerick, Waterford, Drogheda and Dundalk.
