Smart Telecom promises 60 new Dublin jobs

Smart Telecom is creating 60 new jobs in Dublin. The new employees will be located at a new call centre in the city centre and will bring to 330 the total number of staff employed by Smart in Ireland.

The company already has offices in CityWest Business Park in Dublin and in Carrigtwohill in Cork. It says it is now the third largest employer in the Irish telecommunications sector.

Smart Telecom is aiming to have 70,000 customers signed up by the end of this year and the new call centre will play a pivotal role in this process.

The company recently started trading on the Alternative Investment Market on the London Stock Exchange and completed a fundraising round worth €15m.
