US security software company McAfee is to set up a facility in Cork, creating 152 jobs over the next three years.
McAfee's software operations centre, supported by IDA Ireland, will service international markets. It will have a product development team and will also translate software for local markets.
Enterprise, Trade & Employment Minister Micheal Martin made the announcement at the company's headquarters in Santa Clara, California.
McAfee's chief operating officer Stephen Richards cited Ireland's technology capability, workforce, and 'flexible operating environment' as reasons for its decision to set up in Ireland.
