Four Compustore shops cease trading

Four Compustore shops in Dublin and Galway have ceased trading.

The shops, which specialised in computer and software products, failed to open for trading on Saturday.

A statement from the company's registered office says notice of a creditors meeting will be advertised in the press tomorrow.

RTE understands that up to 60 jobs may have been lost.

Compustores in other parts of the country are not affected and remain in business.

People who left computer equipment with Compustore's repair service have been asked to leave their details on a mobile phone number. The message says they will be contacted in due course.
