Mobile business solutions company MobileAware has announced funding of €4m from Nauta Capital and existing investors, Cross Atlantic Capital Partners and Bank of America. This brings to €20m the total funds raised to date.
This latest round of funding will be used to grow revenue and employee numbers, as well as to expand global distribution channels for the company's products.

Wicklow-based Valista has announced that it has won a contract with mobile giant Orange, to provide software for Orange's Simpay mobile payments system.
Simpay is a micro-payment system, operated by Orange, Vodafone and T-Mobile which allows people to pay for low-value items using their mobile phone.
w-HA will operate the service for Orange while Valista will provide the technology based on its PaymentsPlus technology.
Valista is an Irish-based software development company which is based in Kilmacanogue in County Wicklow and employs 90 people.
