Radio listenership figures for the year to June show slight falls for national stations and an increase in the numbers listening to local and regional stations.
The JNLR/TNS mrbi figures show that the reach - or 'listened yesterday' - figure for regional and local stations was 56%, up three points on the same period a year earlier.
RTE Radio 1 and 2FM fell one to 27% and 24% respectively, while Lyric FM was static at 3%. Today FM dropped two to 14%.
The best performing local stations were Highland Radio (71%), Mid-West Radio (68%) and North West Radio (68%).
In the highly competitive Dublin market, 98FM and FM104 were at 21%, the former falling one point and the latter rising two points. Q102, formerly Lite FM, added one to 11%, with Spin FM up three to 7%. Newstalk 106 and Country 106.8 moved up to 4% and 3% respectively. RTE Radio 1 and 2FM dropped to 30% and 15% respectively in Dublin.
In Cork, 96FM County Sound added one to 51%, while Red FM dropped two to 16%.
