Finnish mobile phone giant Nokia's sales continued to fall in the second quarter as competitors increasingly ate into its market share.
Sales dropped by 5% year-on-year to €6.64 billion in the March-June period, a fall that was widely expected by analysts. Its market share dipped from 40% to 31%.
Nokia's net profit grew by 14% to €712m from €624m a year ago, when it was forced to take a once-off charge of €399m.
The company's shares plunged by nearly 15% in Helsinki after the results.
