Adwalker soars on Ofex debut

Adwalker, the Dublin-headquartered wearable media solutions company, said its shares rose by over 87% on the first day of trading on the Ofex market yesterday.

The company is an 'out of home' mobile advertising and interactive media platform, which delivers media and marketing applications. It produces kit that is wearable as a lightweight vest, with a viewable LCD screen on the front and a wearable computer.

Adwalker will be used by its clients to communicate with consumers at locations and events including music festivals and concerts, bars and restaurants, fundraising events, sporting events, bus and train stations, colleges, products launches, airports, car parks, cinemas and retail outlets.

Its customers include Coors Light Ireland, Lucozade Ireland and Volvo Ireland.
