Smart Telecom has completed its 120km Dublin ring, which it says is the first stage of its national network roll-out.
Chief executive Oisin Fanning said the move would bring huge savings to its corporate customers.
Smart says the Dublin ring will allow customers to buy only what they need to use, deliver multiple products on one service port connection, and provide new internet services as well as voice and data.
Smart has also set up supplier alliances with six companies to extend the network nationwide.
