Independent News & Media has announced the completion of the sale of its two remaining Kent and North West newspaper operations.
The deal was first announced on December 11th 2003. Following statutory changes to the regulatory regime for newspapers transfers/mergers the sale of the remaining divisions was expected to be completed on or after today's date.
The deal announced on December 11th saw the INM receive a cash injection of over €88m from Archant for the five newspaper divisions.
