Microsoft has chosen Eircom, Esat BT and NTL as its broadband partners in Ireland for its Xbox Live video games system, due to be launched in eight more countries in October.
The software giant announced 22 partners in the eight countries at a telecoms conference in Geneva this morning.
The companies will work to provide offers to allow customers to connect to Xbox Live.
The online gaming product is already available in a number of countries.
