The Riverdeep management buy-out team has declared its offer for the education software company unconditional.
By Friday afternoon, the MBO vehicle Hertal said it had received acceptances representing 86% of the shares needed to acquire the company. This amounts to over 89% when the shares owned or controlled by Hertal are taken into account.
Hertal, headed by chief executive Barry O'Callaghan and Pat McDonagh, says its offer will remain open until 11am on April 4 and will not be extended further.
