A weekend report has said British media group Granada is looking to double its 45% stake in TV3.
The Sunday Times said Granada was in the middle of talks on the 45% stake currently held by Canadian group Canwest, which was expected to cost around €50m.
Granada, which on Friday announced that it was in advanced talks on a merger with rival Carlton, would not comment on the report.
