US data storage company StorageTek has opened an Irish subsidiary in Blackrock, Co Dublin.
It will immediately establish its sales, technical systems, software development and business services teams. The Irish subsidiary is expected to employ around a dozen people initially.
StorageTek also says its establishment will result in extra jobs indirectly from the expansion of the channel partners which sell its products north and south.
