Alphyra signs UK deal with RBOS arm

The UK subsidiary of electronic transactions group Alphyra has signed an agreement with Europe's largest card payment acquiring business Streamline Merchant Services.

Under the deal, Alphyra will market Streamline's debit and credit card processing services to its existing 16,000 strong network. Streamline is a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland.

'This deal marks a significant success for our UK business as it broadens the product portfolio available to our base of merchants,' said Alphyra CEO John Nagle.

Alphyra shares closed 16 cent - over 7% - higher at €2.36 in Dublin on Thursday evening.
