According to the early global estimate, the seasonally adjusted volume of industrial production for the three months ended November 2001 was 3.2% down on that for the previous three month period.
According to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office today, the year on year decrease for November 2001 was 8.%.
This early estimate is based on the actual returns for the firms which have already responded for the reference month.
The detailed data for November 2001 will be published by the end of January 2002, the CSO said.
