Software expansion to bring 500 new NI jobs

Investment worth £11m sterling will mean 550 new software development jobs for Northern Ireland, it was announced on Friday.

Deputy first minister at the Northern Assembly Mark Durkan said the decision by Northbrook Technology would send out a clear signal that Northern Ireland was a key player in the technology sector.

Belfast is to get 300 of the jobs and another 250 will be going to Derry. The company, which was established three years ago, already employs 250 people in Belfast.
