Ophthalmic optical products maker Essilor has become a member of the Media Lab Europe consortium for an initial three-year period.
Media Lab is the research and development centre based in Dublin city centre.
Under the agreement, Essilor will be entitled to intellectual property rights to all work developed at Media Lab during its period of membership. Essilor will also sponsor a research fellow at the centre.
