Macalla Software has opened its new British headquarters in the heart of the City of London and plans to employ an additional 50 people in the UK over the next 18 months.
The mobile middleware provider, which operates its international headquarters from Dublin, said the expansion is being undertaken to support the continuing update of Macalla's Mobility service by leading financial institutions in the City.
Macalla Software was recently named as Europe's number one wireless application provider. It was founded in 1998.
