NTL sticks to 2001 goals after record Q4

Leading British cable telecoms company NTL said this morning that it was sticking to its 2001 financial targets after posting record fourth quarter results.

The company, which has major operations here also, said its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation for October-December were £65 million, making a year total of £229 million. Revenues were £586 million, giving £1.88 billion for the full year.

Chief Executive Barclay Knapp said the company should achieve its 2001 goals of £385 million EBITDA on £2.6 billion of revenues.
