British media group Granada, which last year took a 45% stake in TV3, is in talks with a number of companies about similar deals in Europe.
Chief executive Steve Morrison told the FT New Media & Broadcasting conference in London that Granada was trying to set up local production companies and seek joint ventures with other broadcasters.
Mr Morrison later told Reuters Granada was in talks with possible partners in France, Italy and Spain.
He said alliances in Europe could be similar to the deal with TV3, which has a seven-year contract to show some of Granada's shows as well as ties to its advertising sales in London.
