Telecommunications group eTel, which was founded by Irish entrepreneur Sean Melly to focus on the central European market, has launched its Slovak operation eTel Slovensko, which will be aimed at corporate customers.
eTel already serves around 70 customers in Slovakia and plans to invest around five million euros there over the next 12 months following the completion of a $50m round of venture capital funding recently.
Chief operating officer Conor Daly says Slovakia is important because of the large number of multinationals operating in the country, and its rapid rate of progress towards EU membership.
