Omnipay, a new international payments processing company, has commenced operations from its Dublin headquarters today. The new company is a joint venture between Omnipay founders Brian Connolly and Hubert O'Donoghue and the international financial services group, FEXCO.
Omnipay will provide multicurrency payment processing services and internet transaction services for banks and their processors. The company plans to grow to 40 employees over the next 15 months.
The company was founded to take advantage of the huge growth in the on-line spending market, which in the EU region alone is predicted to be worth $65 billion by the end of this year.
